I will be installing an Infinity Basslink powered sub, with the rest of the system bone stock. I am wondering where is the best spot to pick up a speaker level signal, both right and left, and if anyone knows the wire colors. Any help is appreciated.

what kind of cab ya got? Regular cab, then pick them up from behind the radio. If you have an access or double cab, then use the wires going to the rear doors. Can't help you on coloring, but I'm sure someone here will know.

I found this stereo wiring color code for a 2005 tacoma and they should be the same because i think it was the exact same wire code for my 02, but i would try a google search to double check. I dont think they have a wiring diagram anywhere online since you have an 09. My suggestion is just go to your local autoparts store and buy a service manual for an 09 taco because they might have the daigrams and stuff in there. Good luck
