See, I never just did things just to do them, c'mon I mean, what am I'm gonna do just all of the sudden just jump up and grind my feet in somebody's couch like it's something to do? Come on, I got a little more sense than that...

...Yeah, I remember grinding my feet into Eddie's couch.

Best fucking episode ever man... never laughed so hard in my life.

I am currently healing from rotator cuff surgery, a little over 3 months ago. But, I have powerlifted for a while and have competed at 60kg (132lb) mostly. 148 a couple times and now the IPF has changed so it is 59kg (130lb).
So yes, I am a big guy. If you google 'jimi kavarnos powerlifting', I'm there.

Hit some more bench today, did 5 sets of 3 paused bench with 315lbs around 4 mins between sets, back is still on fire and bending over still triggers a shooting nerve pain, rehab resumes.

So im just gonna post all my training logs in here mainly for myself since gym thread is so full of BS now.

Training today was actually really good, hit some 135 squat just to get the motor pattern back, lower lumber is still curving at the bottom, glutes still needs to heal but my nerve pain has gone down a lot.

Then on to da bench, worked up to 315x3 paused and decide to go match my previous PR of TreeFity paused, idk if it was the 11000 calories i ate yesterday but 350 flew up fast as hell, so i decide to take it for a double, and it flew up fast as hell too, i honetly think i coulda gotten a tripple but decide to call it early for safety reasons seeing how i did chest about 8 sessions in a row and haven't given my tits some much needed break.

Then to finished the workout i did some light sumo pulls, feels good but my glutes are still really bothering me, just did 6 sets of 135 to get back into the grove, and did some stiff leg deads after to get some more blood into the glutes so they will heal faster

Kinda sucks now that my squat and deads have to start over from the ground up again, but hopefully i can match my old pr in a month or so

    Old PR
    squat 525
    Deads 485

Hey, now that's not a bad idea. I always post my training logs in there and I know no one looks at them, so we can just use this thread to post them lol. It's a win-win....I get blab on about what I do at the gym and you finally get the gratification of having a successful thread

Signed up for the local UFC gym today, finally had enough of 24 hours shitty music, dirty locker rooms, crowded bros and they goddamn hex plates.

new place has all the machine a regular gym has, plus 2 powercage with deadlift platform, 1 plain cage, and 1 squat rack, tire flip out back with prowlers, full mma octagon, 2 floors, and most important round plates, they got regular steel plates, bumper plates, oly plates, you name it.

My deadlift is gonna go up like crazy once my injury heal, those hex plates are terrible for rep work esp for sumo deadlift.

So now you are just going to get the "Just Bleed" bros...On a serious note Ive been debating the same. I have a Gold's about a mile from my house that I have been debating about making the switch to. What might make the sell for me is if they have 125+ lb dumbells and decent hours.

This gym is pretty state of the art, and for 15 bucks a month it's almost unbelievable.
