So I just received my Powerstop Brake Kit. When I looked at the pads it looks like one tab of the shim was bent and then bent back into place. Will this be an issue? Wondering if its worth call the seller and wait to get those shipped out.

Won't be an issue. If your OEM shims are in better condition, you can transfer them over, replacing the Powerstop shims. The shim pries off easily with a pocket screwdriver, and it's advisable to put caliper grease between the shim and pad backing plate.

I don’t see how it could, it should be sitting open in the space between the pad and piston?
You’ll understand it better once you look at the brakes.

Thanks. I thought it would be fine. But I think the OCD in me was a bit concerned

No worries..won’t hurt nothing.. I’m not into aftermarket brakes.... the noise that sometimes is inherent with after market brake pads drive me nuts..... hope they work out....
