Exactly. It's there for morale purposes, lol. Although it's come in handy several times at impromptu gatherings

I'm an EMT so I got....

    trauma kit
backpack with 3 changes of clothes
    axe/shovel
    tow strap
    flares
    jumper cables
    reflective vests
    traffic advisers in the back
    few knives
    flashlights
    pen(s) & paper

I plan on getting MREs, some more recovery gear, camping gear, and a handgun with a safe when I'm finally 21 along with a CCW

    Glad someone mentioned this.

If you are making roadside repairs at night, this low cost, compact piece of gear is really useful.

    Triangle reflectors are also good.

    And a pint of bourbon....lol

LMFAO... Lets not forget the importance of the bourbon! Yea, I've had one too many close calls being wrung like a rag between my truck and some idiot driver who decides to speed around me assisting an accident. So yeah, I now got traffic advisers, reflective vests, and road flares to help make me more visible :)

Ever since we had the ballistic missile scare in Hawaii I started carrying 2gal water and MREs but I’m afraid it’s getting too warm to keep those in the truck now.
I purchased 2 wks worth of MREs, I hope I never have to use those things

    Mine is fairly simple.
    - TP - always a must
    - My basic emt "crash" bag - lots of stuff, luckily never really use it
    - Tow strap
    - Rachet straps
    - Bungees
    - basic tarp
    - try to keep water in there.
