Holy Father we pray for Charlie and his family. We pray that you relieve Charlie from his pain and heal him quickly. We pray that you relieve Charlie's family from the stress, heartache, and uncertainty they are experiencing right now. We pray for the health professionals who care for Charlie, asking that you reach into their hearts, minds, and hands.

    In God's name amen.

Latest update on Charlie. Going in for more surgery this morning.

    captchas/charlie g update

Hello folks. long time gone jersey john Capt.'s next door neighbor here for the next few days in control of the captains laptop with all his log in info. Logging in here is something I swore I wouldn't do again when I left. But Paul is on a long haul charter flight this week, So I'll try to get at least one up date in each day,

He had a very rough afternoon and night, going by word from the his wife . round 3 is to start shortly at 0730, Should last about 3 hours,

He has just on his spine gone though 2 in 2006, 2 in 2007, 1 in 2012, now 3 in just under 3 weeks, And I'm not counting the trips to fix his torn up shoulders and knees. Something like 20 surgery's since 1990. A mechanic's life is not easy on the body, cement floors, running in and out of the shops in all types of weather

    Update from John on Charlie.

good morning all. John the former jersey greaser back with a late up date.

I drove his wife down yesterday since rain here meant No flying lessons going up. We left him with my smallest tablet since this 17 inch screen laptop won't fit anywhere. Then he can't lift it anyway. I Hope maybe he will try to get on latter himself, But I doubt it, As sitting up is a chore, as is trying to walk, With the people from PT. He is again In a private converted into a semi private room. bed, night stand, and the IV stand is it. And Again his room mate only speaks Spanish, His family shows up at about 1100 and stays till they are forced to leave at 2100 by the nurses, Very loud and very rude people. Who seem to not care, That there is supposed to be only 2 visitors at a time and should be limiting how long they stay. Yesterday when we got there he had 6. I went down the hall and bitched to the nurses, no help. Then called security and asked them to do something. All I could understand them say was NO ENGLISH. They even took over the wall plugs by Capt's bed to charge their cell phones.

Rough 2 days for chas, The pain levels, they are having problems with bringing down, still a 10 out of 10. Personally I'm DAH!! His back has a cut from the base of his skull down half way down on his upper back or about 12 inches long. Wouldn't anyone have pain from that? A new full spine CAT scan done yesterday showed he still has 2 more bad thoracic disc's down lower plus the failed lumbar done in 2006 and 2007, Add to it, His gallbladder has started to act up. Another round of tests to check it today, If it is acting up, HE has sworn it will be done at the local hospital in New York state 9 miles away . This driving 40 plus miles each way every day plus $7.00 a day to park is out of hand,

His wife was reading some of the bills from round one. That have starting to show up. Hospital $170.000 , 70 grand of it for the special hardware used. Doctor $72.000. Doctors assistant $33.000 . Miss bills add another 10 grand. They are thankful for that combo of Medicare and the aarp/united health supplement plan So far no out of pocket.

Thanks for the updates John, I hope and pray Charlies situation and problems get better fast. Feeling bad and in pain one doesn't need the commotion and B.S. he has going on. He is in my thoughts and prayers everyday.
