I usually don't do stuff like this but my nerves are a lil tore up and i need to steam off a lil bit.

Anyone that can and will please pray for a fellow fire fighter on my department, yesterday afternoon he went into sudden cardiac arrest shortly after returning from a call. the doctors say he has a 50/50 chance to live due to the care he recieved outside the hospital, but brain damage and any improvements will not be noticed till the weekend. Please keep him in your prayers and im sorry for posting this on tw but just needed to let it out

Would you be able to provide a name or at least a 1st name for him? Makes it a little easier to direct it toward him.

his name is lynn, theyre taking him off of hypothermia this evening and he should be off sedation friday if things go well. they said that because of the rapid care he got his chances of survival are 30% higher

we had a CISD today and it shows how tight knit of a family we truly are

just want to say take a moment to make up with someone you may have had an arguement with or catch up with and old friend, because you never really know whatll happen between then and the next time you see them

also try to learn CPR, you never know who you may have to use it on

and also debriefing really really helps, it takes a huge load off your shoulders
