Her name is Kristen Carterson. She was visiting North Carolina to be at her brothers funeral.

On March 30th, Wednesday night, Kristen Carterson was shot 3 times - once to the head, twice to the chest. She was immediatley put into surgery and they successfully removed all of the bullets. They put her into a medically induced coma late Wednesday night, she then slipped into a normal coma Thursday morning. She was flown to Atlanta for a brain surgery with one of the top brain surgeons in the US. The surgery went well and she may only suffer from some memory loss. But she is still in a coma and doctors are unaware when she will wake up. Keep praying for Kristen. She needs all the prayers she can get!

The shooter was taken into custody late Wednesday night. The police have not released much information at this point. But the shooter had no relation to Kristen and had never met her. He targeted an innocent girl cause he has many mental issues.

Thank you to everyone for the support and prayers.

I will try and keep yall up to date.

Wow. Sorry to hear that a senseless act of violence impacted her. I hope that she recovers quickly. Thoughts and prayers with her and her family. Never easy to deal with other peoples' stupidity.
