One of my niece's friends, that she met while going through her treatment, passed away yesterday. She was the same age and going through the same (almost identical) problems as Hannah. It's sad to think that something like happens daily. It really puts alot into perspective about her life and everyone else.

Please keep all these children in your prayers!!!

I haven't updated this thread in quite a while (can't believe it's been 5 months since her relapse.)

Just thought I let everyone know that she is doing pretty good right now. She's had several ups and downs (some pretty scary) in the past few months but she's a fighter. We celebrated her 11th birthday this past weekend. She sure did have a lot of "demands" for this occasion and we tried to meet every one of them.

Thanks for your prayers and support!

    Chris

    Hi Chris,
Thanks for the update - I've also subscribed to Hanna's Journal and have been checking in on her every week or two for an update. It's good news the direction that she's been headed and her Mom is, well, just amazing to me...such strength and faith. Keep the faith.

I too have been checking in on Hanna's journey a couple times a week since May. What an amazing kid! She & her Mom's faith is incredible and an inspiration to me. Sometimes when I think I've got troubles I think about walking in Hanna's shoes. Nah, I don't have any troubles. I'm so blessed! Continued prayers for Hannah & family...

Soooo, It's been a loooonnnnggggg time since I last posted here. I kinda forgot about this thread. Thanks to a "reminder" 478DblSport I thought I'd give a quick update about Hannah.

First of all, thank you to all of you that have been following Hannah on her CaringBridge page. Any and all prayers and words of encouragement help not only her but all of the friends and family that she has surrounding her.

Hannah has had her ups and downs over the last year or so. She is doing pretty good right now. She is an amazing little girl. She is so strong in all ways, especially spiritually. I only hope that I can be half as strong as she has been! She recently recorded a song for songsforkidsrecords.org. It is an original song that she wrote and every time I listen to it I tear up.

Please continue to keep her in your prayers! She's come a long way but still has a long way to go.

I'll try not to be absent as I have been and try to update more often.

    Praying.

Hope She comes through, must be really hard for anyone, let alone for someone so young.

Prayers sent. Don't be afraid to tap St. Jude. I've been there and it is an amazing place that can accomplish just about anything.

It's been a pretty long time since the last update. I'm happy to say that Hannah has completed her treatment for the leukemia. This is the second time she's been through this because of her relapse. She has been fighting this monster since she was 5 years old.

She also celebrated her 13th birthday last week with a party for it and the end of her treatments.

Thanks for everyones thoughts and prayers and for the future prayers. Pray that the cancer doesn't come back and that she can finally start her life "cancer free".
