    Thanks again everyone. She is still resting comfortably. They have her on morphine every 2 hours for pain right now, so she is not feeling anything I don't think, which is good. Now it is just a matter of waiting until God decides it is time to come get her.

    I got chills from this. My wife and I are all to familiar with losing a parent at home. 11 months ago my mother-in-law lost her battle with stage IV lung cancer.

    Your mom is in a better place now and is not suffering anymore. I pray for your families spiritual and emotional strength in a time when you will need it most. God Bless.

    I know this sounds kinda silly to some, but you all have become kind of an extended family. Been talking to several of you for a while now, and enjoy your company, and reading your posts. Thanks for the wishes and prayers. Instead of having a service or a funeral, my mom told us that she wants us to have a "Celebration of Life" party for her instead, so we will be doing that. She has been my rock through some VERY difficult life situations. It is hard to see her go, but knowing she is at peace is what counts the most.
