Yup, just found out they decided against surgery and put her on blood thinners. They think she will have to be on them for about 6 months. She will remain in the hospital for testing for the next 3-4 days

Good God Almighty all of us here pray to you about Meghan. We don't know the story but we know there's problems. But we also know You're with her and we pray that you have mercy on her and heal her. We know You can. We need people like her around, there's not a lot of teenagers in today's world who care about things like pro swimming and spend their time constructively rather than....well You know. We pray that you are with her and let her know You're there. Amen.

Glad she had the headache... too often those things kill w/o warning signs. I hope she continues to recover.

That they put her on thinners is a very good sign-that's what I am on for mine. Your blood has the means to break down and eliminate blood clots. Thinning the blood enables it to get within the clot and work at it. This is very good news for the young lady.

Thank you everybody so much for the kind words! I talked to her directly this morning and she is feeling better. Still in the hospital and bummed that she can't swim for a while, but health wise she is doing fine. Thanks again everyone for your consideration!
