I didn't even notice any on my second gen without the sway bar. I tried to notice it but it was very minimal, if you've ever had a lifted truck its what you'd expect.

I believe you will see the biggest difference off road. Now when you hit an bump on the right, the right tire absorbs it alone, rather than absorbing and pulling the left side as well due to the sway bar.

I took my sway bar off on my 2nd gen when I installed an lt kit and I haven't put it back on since I took it off because my spindle gussets won't allow it. I like the onroad cornering better with the sway bar, but I get around fine without it. Off-road is a lot nicer without it. Like you said the front stays more composed - I went through a bunch of 1-1.5' dry stream beds that cut through the trail diagonally up in Mojave and the front (stock bilsteins) glided right over them or articlulated smoothly without jarring the steering wheel as long as I stayed off the bumpstops.

Are you getting better lift from the front now with the new springs?

I am getting better lift for sure, and driving without the swaybar on the road is totally fine, its not going back on ever. Still havent added the leafs waited on the daystar greasable bushings for the front. Gonna add the leaf, shackles, and bushings this friday

Surf has been decent so ive been in the water, not the dirt. I wanna try and hit a
Trail this weekend to play in some rocks. May go camp in idyllwild but surf is up this weekend again so may just do a local trail

When you have time, can you grab a picture of the preload, and the measurement from the ground to the fender? Im considering pulling the trigger on the 700lb springs. We have pretty much the exact same setup in the front.

mine are both facing forward. I got the solo kit, def recommend either the solo/total chaos kit. I’m sure 2nd gen style would work pretty good too
