I need to replace the struts on my ride. I'm leaning towards using pre-assembled struts since I don't want to screw with compressing the springs.

Anybody got any recommendations on what to use? I want to keep the stock height.

    Thanks!

Hey Dave. A lot of guys like the Bilstein 5100s up front with either stock or aftermarket coils. You can use them at the bottom setting for no lift.

Wheeler's offers to assemble your shock / coil assembly for a fee. Additionally, I'm sure any decent shop will be able to slap the coils on for a small charge.

I'm not a mechanic but recently used compressors to switch over my coils onto some new shocks, borrowed compressors from advance auto, and was able to do it without too much of a challenge.
