Same here re: no shaking and the stub! I’ll try and grab a pic if I can but if you match the two (new and OEM) up you’ll see what orientation is correct and it’ll click. If I recall correctly on my passenger side I had white w black line as neg and blue was positive, driver was same neg but the positive was red

Thanks everyone! I was able to get everything working last night and I just used duct tape to hold the connection for now.

Be careful because a loose electrical connection generates heat which will damage the terminals. All connections should fit snug and you should hear a click.

Feel free man! Like I said I’m real happy with the set up, your recommendation was spot on. I work nights so I’m usually heading in when it’s dark at 6:45pm and on my drive I always appreciate them, wish I did it sooner!!

Imagine what full retrofits can do! But that is actually bad ass lighting for factory halogen projectors. Not going to lie back in the day I did retrofits that didn't shine that bright (8 year ago)

Ahhh I know man don’t even get me started!! I’d love to get rid of the chrome and retro too! Haha. It’s on the list for sure just a bit further down (especially now that the HIDs are in and I can see again!)

Worse! My first retrofit which I actually purchased back this year from the person I made it for was a Valeo halogen projector from a Chrysler crossfire. I used to buy the entire headlight and gut it for parts

Just out of curiosity, what does retrofit mean entirely? Pulling the lights apart? Or like buying new lens assemblies that come with an HID projector in them?

Hey man I tried to grab a few photos while I was under my hood today... everything’s already plugged in but I hope these help!

Bottom left corner is the connection to the headlight, you need to connect that wire from the “pass through” to whichever bulb you choose, then plug your bulb into the headlight assembly. It’s a very tight fit, I had to carefully twist with a pair of channel locks. Hard to see but that black and orange also on the right hand side of the “pass through” grommet will feed down into the stock low beam plug. Detailed below

This is where you have to connect to the stock plug. There should be a black connector and two small orange bits in the bag with that wire. Take the orange plugs and seat it at the bottom of the exposed metal crimp, then press into the black connector (make sure you’re lined up so black goes to white/black and orange goes to red and it clicks in, there should be a matching nub on the Morimoto plug that will click into stock). On mine, drivers side was as pictured, I believe passenger was black to white/black and orange to blue. Next connections should be more straightforward..

    Then..

    98149297-4B1F-45CD-861B-6AB2929E4E92.jpg

And you should be good! Test em out and then zip tie everything to hide it as best you can and enjoy! Hope this helps.

(Note: this is what worked on my truck with my set up (35w/5500k no relay, YMMV)

That's interesting, you used that pass through wire? The one without the plug connector on the end? I pulled mine out and didn't use it.

Yeah, looking over the packaging I used everything. Maybe it wasn’t needed and I plugged in some redundant stuff but idk it all works and has been good for a week!
