My issue is that it seems some of the plugs are the same so I can't tell by prewiring it what exactly goes where. I haven't spent much time on it though. I ordered the relay with the harness as well. Tomorrow is a new day, we will see how it goes.

I have this kit on the relay harness. Perhaps it is unrelated, but my battery has been dead the last two mornings. Does this kit draw any power when the truck is off, with the relay harness?

Question on the "OEM input" on the relay. I have one oem connector, yet 2 headlights... What is the setup for that? The instructions on the site aren't helpful. Thanks.

Just plug one OEM connector into the plug on the ballast and leave the other unplugged. The oem connector is just a switch to trip the relays into powering on the ballasts.

The harness is tagged as to where each connector goes, only one oem headlight plug is required, the one by the battery. Then plug the two new harness plugs into the ballasts, then ballast to igniters, then igniters to new hid bulbs.

Correct polarity / clips pushed in all the way? Some of those are gnarly to push in. Low beams are the ones you're replacing w HID right?

    Yeah to all that.
    I'm a big dummy.
There is a 8" long piece that goes from the OEM switch to the harness that I left on the intake... Turns out it is kind of important.

Thanks for holding my hand lol. Now I'm trying to figure out where to mount it all so the harness stretches far enough.

Yeah the other OEM switch tripped me up. Thanks.

@Lt. Dangle I made a cheesey aluminum plate with a tab bent over the top at 90* that attaches to the battery hold down. It holds one ballast, both relays and one double sided taped ignitor. Seems to be okay for now.

I mounted a ballast and the relays to the inner fender area besides and in front of the battery. The ignitor is just zip tied to the mess of wires. On the passenger side I would have killed for longer wires. I had to mount the ballast next to the radiator. Ignitor zip tied again. Longer wires would have let me run it around the back of the engine compartment with the factory look like I wanted to. I might look into it again come springtime.

I feel ya. Same thing! I had to mount mine next to the radiator with a couple of existing holes. I was lucky enough to be able to double sided tape my igniter tho.

I have one bulb that does not always ignite. I have to turn my lights on and off a few times before it starts up. Is this related to a bad igniter?
