I have a 2018 SR5 DCLB I bought in June.Twice I have had Brake! displayed on the dash with an alarm beep. Traveling 50 mph down back roads with absolutely nothing in the road and no car in front of me. Alarm only lasted for a second both times. I have the sensitivity set to minimum. I was wondering if blowing leaves or bugs hitting the grill can cause issues with this. Anyone with similar experience?

Unexpected movement at close range yes, but I don’t think leaves should be doing that. Was there a change in lighting giving a false impression of a vehicle? Light reflections of the pavement like off of water or ice? Change in lane lines?

I don't recall anything out of the ordinary. Both times it happened on roads I drive very frequently.

Winding roads with cruise on and trees, brush, rocks, culverts, signs on the side of the road while driving around the curve may temporarily in an instant do it.

Very much feels like a beta version to me. Hopefully, updates will come in later years. I do like I’ve at least got that layer of protection, even if it’s faulty.

I like the idea of the extra protection but its a distraction. Both times I was startled by the beeps and my natural reaction was to look down at the dash, taking my eyes off the road.
