Your WDH needs to be set up better. You should be able to get even clearance front to back within the wheel wells. What brand WDH do you have?

Oh and bump stops don't take all day.

Prices are decent, the bags have been around awhile.

Does the lights warnings come off on their own, and is it dangerous to.pull trailer without air bags, and will it damage the truck

The warnings lights should come off without loaded, if they don't, you have other issues, but I think your trailer setup very well may be the culprit.
Bump stops are only engaged when bottoming out,, you don't want to be on them, this is a sign of being overloaded and/or improper springs. Air bags will help out a lot in this case, you can fill them when trailering and empty them when not, for a smoother ride. Of course this means filling and emptying them. There are kits made that you can wire and plumb in, so you can fill and empty from the cab.
As mentioned, you still need to properly weigh this setup and an adjust your WDH.

In the end, while it is doable, that trailer is not light weight. It is on the heavy side and has a ton of drag on the lil (not so good at towing) Tacoma, so go in to this knowing that. I would seriously weight out costs of modifying your truck versus trading in for a full size truck.

I tow a slightly bigger travel trailer. I have a Add a Leaf (3 leaf) from Icon which I also kept the OL leaf in place. I was able to get an even load front to rear by adjusting the WDH per the instructions but you are still within the specs of the GVWR so it should adjust. I also have Duro Bump stops and also have a tune. Honestly, I think I could tow more but I know better.

The air bags are used in conjunction with the leaf springs already in place. A tune is modding the shift points or engine tune to produce different shift points or a little bit more power.

Adding more leaves to the original springs can decrease the the sag but usually at the expense of a harsher ride or a more raked [raised rear] look when not hooked up to a trailer.

see my post #6, they are screenshots from the Toyota owner's manual, explaining the different acronyms which you will also find your exact numbers on the sticker in the driver's door jamb. Each vehicle is slightly different, as they are outfitted with different options. Additional options add weight, thus reducing capacity.
