This topic has been discussed ad infinitum. BUT, I will tell you that I experienced the same thing on my 2019 TRD Sport. I swapped out the OEM grill about a week after I got it. PCS light would come on seemingly at random times. Turn engine off then restart, and it would go out for days or weeks, and then, come on again for no reason. Very frustrating. I finally installed two thin washers on the top screw that basically alters the angle of the sensor a hair or two, to compensate for the height difference between where the sensor was on the OEM grill, and where it sits on the PRO grill. This seemed to do the trick for many weeks, when all of a sudden one day, the light came on again, for no reason. But it went off again, and I would say that after I put 2000 miles on the truck, the light never came on again, UNTIL, just last month, when I drove the truck across the country from the SF Bay area, to the Outer Banks of NC. The WHOLE WAY across the country, going west, the light was on almost constantly! It would give a message saying "PCS System unavailable, clean sensor". Since I was traveling mostly at night, I figured it was bugs, which there were a few, but certainly nothing that should warrant the PCS system becoming unavailable! I mean, SURELY Toyota would have tested this thing in a real world where things like bugs, rain, etc, would hit the sensor cover and at the very least, alter viewability of the sensor camera? But then, when I arrived at the Outer Banks of NC, I went to my truck one morning, and after driving for a while, I noticed that the light did not come on. And it never has come on again, from NC, all the way across the country back to the SF Bay area in CA! When I got back, it was time for the 10,000 mile checkup, and believe me, I gave the service dept manager an earfull, about the PCS system, as well as the transmission! He told me though, that the TSS system itself, is a learning system, which would account for why it worked fine on the way back, and has continued to work since I got back. I have not seen the PCS OFF light come on since October 10th! But two things to look for, when it says "PCS System unavailable, clean sensor". Most people look at the sensor cover on the front of the grill, but one also needs to look at the CAMERA that is mounted in the center of the windshield and is used in conjunction with the sensor. Just like the sensor cover can get dirty with bugs, etc, so can the windshield where the camera is. So also clean the windshield there too. Hope this info helps...

I DID buy the OEM garnish in addition to the one that came with my aftermarket PRO grill. But, I just ended up using the one that came with the aftermarket grill, and so far there have been no problems with the sensor related to the aftermarket sensor cover.
