    Just installed a leveling kit on a 2019 SR5 2WD.

Now it drives wonky and I'm getting this warning. WTF?

Maybe some wires got snagged or something was unplugged? Never seen that from a lift install before. The truck has no idea that it was lifted.

It needs an alignment for sure but I think that's it there are no snagged wires I triple checked.

I’ve lifted my 2019 to 2.25” and there were no issues with VSC. Many others also. But then again, not all Tacoma’s react the same to changes........

Thanks guys, I'm going to look into the VSC thing.

I installed the lift....easy peasy. I've done quite a few over the years including my Wife's 2016 4Runner with no issues.

This is weird, but again...I can visually see the "toe-in" is bad and it needs to get to the alignment shop.

Most likely just needs an alignment and VSC reset after that is done.

The 3rd Gens have a quite a bit more electronics that seem to be sensitive/temperamental.

Hope you get it figured out, man!

I appreciate it buddy. I'm going to reset the VSC first thing in the morning, drive to get the alignment and reset it again! Hopefully that does the trick. I was so stoked to drive that thing after getting the wheels, tires, lift and Bilstein's done.......then it got crazy.

That thing was wiggling and and making a grinding sound...the steering wheel acting like the steering linkage wasn't even attached. I got out crawled under it and re-checked everything and it's all good....if that the computer....that's scarry that it has that much control over the steering.

Did you make sure all of your ABS sensors were reinstalled properly? That will cause this problem methinks.

Yessir....so as it turns out, the alignment was just really off.

I had the alignment done and the lights cleared out. Plus I did the VSC "wipe" afterward for good measure. Thanks guys!

    Great news man!

Good alignment is essential for both performance and longevity of your components (tires, steering and other suspension parts). It's one of the only things I go to a shop for. Sometimes you have to hunt around to find the right place/tech to really dial it in, especially if you have adjustable UCAs or other aftermarket suspension parts.

Happy to hear you got it figured out and can continue enjoying your badass Taco!

Did you do the wipe, or did you take it somewhere to have it done?
