Glad to hear PCS saved your butt. I have had mine beep and say "BRAKE" but not apply the brake except when using CC. I turned mine up to max sensitivity. My wife has a 2021 Corolla XSE and PCS has saved her at least once in 2.5 years.

The fake seat belt was a day 1 mod for me. I don't exactly advertise it to my passengers lol, but sometimes my backpack or dog will trip the alarm. I've read/heard that you can even ask the dealer to shut the chime off for you. Don't quote me on this, but it might even say that in the manual!

I didn't even know it would brake by itself. I just thought it was an audible warning on my 22 off road. Went off once in my truck but I got to the brakes too quick to notice anything other than me braking.

Mine did too in traffic when a dumbdumb crossed solid lines into the carpool lane right in front of me where I was going 35 and they were going 5.

It’s not “useful” until one time then it 100% pays and justifies itself.

I bought the Carista dongle and was able to turn off the seatbelt chime in my Tacoma and my wife's Corolla using the Carista App. Total cost was less than $50 if you canceled the 30 day trial before 30 days.
