If I dont go to Havasu and my Jeep is completed by then (the front end anyway) I will try and make it, OW is my stomping grounds, I could give fucking tours out there!

I would feel wierd going without a motorcycle though..but we will see.

I still need to disassemble the hydraulic bump stops and build limiting spacers since 4" is too far for a bump on my setup, need to reduce then to about 2-2.5" travel, adjust my suspension, weld up a few things and finalize the strap mounts, and weld some bump pads on...still a lot of details to wok out yet.

But if I am in town I will do my best to make it..

Asked the Rangers on Facebook their thoughts on the weather, sounds promising:

Ocotillo Wells SVRA According to NOAA, we have a 20% chance of thunderstorms today, followed by sunny weather until at least Saturday. So everything should be pretty dry. But we do recommend that you check the forecast and be prepared for anything, especially the heat! Here is a link to the NOAA website that the park uses to check the weather:

You'll be fine. Light is only really needed when you are going faster. Based on the time Randy is saying people will be home by you won't be out there int he dark for more than an hour or 2.

Ocotillo is a mix of everything, there will be a lot of hard pack and some soft spots that will make the 2WD's butt holes pucker.
