    I'm definately in, if this comes to fruition. Great idea and IMO a marketable one. Injection tooling can be very expensive with the R&D and all the moving parts. To get the product down to the price you're looking to sell them for...you may need a significant list of buyers. GL and put me down !!

    Guys,
    The opening on the stock bumper is not the same... True, it is a second piece, but I could find no easy way to separate the two.
    The bumper is obviously a different material then the grill - more flexible...
    I had the entire front end off when I did the satoshi mod. as you can see from the pic in my sig I did the bumper too.
    I did that with the center piece attached to the bumper... I wish it did come off!

    depending on how you can get it to re-attach to the grill outer shell, vacuum forming would be the way to go....much cheaper.
    you can get away with wood and/or fiberglass molds form vacuum forming

    this is an awesome idea...although you can do it yourself, i bet alot of people would be willing to pay the extra convenience fee for a satoshi grill thats easy to install. best of luck!

    Actually I do have a grill from mt 1st. gen... a 99'
    It is all one piece and this concept would not work for that.
    Not sure about any other years... The one I have I believe fits 98,99, and 00.
