First post on the forum, been looking at the 3rd gens and have been contemplating a TRD OR, or the Pro in cement. Found a Pro locally, 17' with less than 30k miles for 38k firm.

Does this appear to be in line for this package, with auto tran?

Vehicle appears clean, original tires, one owner.

Thanks to all in advance for any insight

Seems about right. I’ve seen used pros in the 38k-43k range. I know I saw a 17 on vroom or whatever online dealer for $36k recently. The pros do hold their value a bit better than the other trims.

Seems to be about right. Considering they were about $60 out to door if not more when they were new. $38k seems like they want it moved.

I paid less than that for a brand new TRD OR with premium and tech package (leather, sunroof, etc.) I wouldn't pay that much for that truck with 30,000 miles on it but that's just me. What makes you want a Pro over a off-road?

The pro comes with fox suspension, pro grille, pro wheels ect.. You paid less because you got less.

Exactly it’s like saying you paid less for a fx4 over a raptor.

That price is solid especially given it’s a cement pro and first pro year. It’ll hold its value.

I realize that, but that wasn't my question. They said they were contemplating both packages so I asked why.

Fair enuff. Looks used OR 4x4 are roughly $4k less. I'd say if OP has the money and doesnt plan to do much work or swap anything, just get the already loaded pro.

For sure if they want a Pro specifically then it's a good deal. Just stating you can get deals a good bit less than that for a new fully loaded Off-Road, at least I did and others have also.

I'd say if you have the cash, do it. Good looking rig.

She’s purty, still my favorite pro color.

Thanks for info. Main reasoning for interest in the Pro would be that they come with fox suspension, leather already installed, and prefer the wheels. That's pretty much it in a nutshell

Sounds like it's worth it to you then. You'd pay quite a bit to get the fox suspension and wheel package if you bought a off road.

From what I've seen they are not staying on the lots too long. Another one was listed for a tad more last week but is already gone.

The cement is also my favorite pro color, possibly with exception to the new AG!

So a new 19 OR tech/premium packaged will run you about $36-37k new and will have leather, JBL, moonroof and everything the PRO has minus the Fox suspension, grille, hood skewp, shifter, wheels and badging.

A pre 2019 Pro like what your looking at wont have the JBL or moonroof like the OR but will have the above listed. Its gonna be a matter of whats more important to you.

New OR: no fox suspension, no pro parts but JBL and moonroof
Used Pro: no JBL or moonroof, fox suspension and pro parts

Price between the two is the same based on the one youre looking at.

Well apparantley the dealer sold the truck in spite of me having it reserved. Looking forward to the days of a smoother purchasing process, I. E. Without dealerships!
