Got all preapproved today and got the call last week that my truck is about 3 weeks out from being at the dealer!! The excitement is building!

Nothing of importance just wanted to share the excitement.

Very cool. Now you have 3 weeks to troll TW and decide how many thousands of dollars you are going to drop on stuff for the truck once it arrives :spending:

    Oh look, another mod....

No shit. This guy isn't "one of us" unless he starts buying shit for a truck he doesn't even have yet. That's the real sign of a TW enthusiast.

Whaddaya' say, @Saulkrun ? Are you one of us?

I went with a celestial silver DCSB SR. For what I was looking for out of a truck I couldn’t justify the extra 5k for a SR5 or 7k for a TRD sport/OR

I already bought grab handles and have gotten a quote on better tires

I’ve been trying not to buy stuff because I don’t want to buy thing for it and for some reason have something fall through with the truck.

Come on now. Rational thought has no place here. You have 3 weeks to fill your garage with stuff for a truck you don't own yet. Get to work! :anonymous:

......only to be replaced by stock parts for sale

That was my thought exactly, which is why I purchased an SR as well and then made it my own with mods. These trucks can be modded and improved easily and without a lot of money, OR you can go wild and spend LOTS of money making it your own. Either way, I know you will enjoy the truck.

FYI: I would strongly suggest you go ahead and purchase some clear screen protectors for your infotainment screen and your dash cluster before they have a chance of getting scratched up.

Enjoy your truck. Welcome to the board. Good luck being patient for the next 3 weeks.

Yeah, that’s once of my first few small things I want to do!

I feel the same way, I don’t need something crazy. I went with the 6cylinder and 4x4 which will give me everything I need. One of my favorite things with tacomas is how customizable they are
