No is was't coined that's why silver is in short supply. It was used in electronic in too small of amounts to recycle and it gone...
A 1000 years of silver is used and gone.... the silver trade started when the supply ran out in 2002..........
That's why the price took of and they had to naked short silver to keep the price down........

The gold is in vaults, that's why I'm not a gold bug.........

There are no silver stock piles............

Silver is directly correlated to the stock market today. It is not a hedge nor is it insurance. This is investing 101. Let's use this thread to educate potential PM investors to the benefits and pitfalls of PM investing please.

Silver is only useful in electronics for solder, and in that use it's been widely replaced. I don't think you understand that silver isn't a finite resource with critical applications. It's a finite resource that's packed away in vaults and banks everywhere as equity or speculation. Unlike palladium, platinum, or rhodium, silver is a replacable metal in many catalysts and other uses.

Omg. A metal with limited uses other than being packed away for equity is running out. How will the economy ever cope.

Lol, I stopped when the article claimed silver has superior conductivity to gold. It does not because pure silver corrodes and then has high resistance. Several other metals and alloys have better conductivity than silver in situ and are cheaper.

Btw did you know there are thousands of tons of silver in deep sea nodules that will be mined in the next 10-20 years?

HAHAHAHAHA yes sir, all the major wirehouses have them in what we call "safekeeping" for those who don't wish to take physical possession of their investment.
