Well, I’m still here. DOW closed just over 17k, I would say I’m suprised. I didn’t think it would. Still invested in a bear market ETF(I’m still in there green). Waiting longer until to see what plays out.

 

Don't worry, I hear the China is getting ready to blow up a few shipping containers in New York for retaliation in the Currency War. You heard it here on the internet first. I'll be making that statement in my basement on a webcam via youtube later tonight. You won't want to miss it.

BTW you can trust me, I have a degree in an Economics related field .

 

Still over here waitin for the apocalyptic crash of the world economy spurred on by a miraculous crash of the U.S. dollar.. Yawn

The trend is down, but this was a good week for the dow....
It has to go up or down and at these prices and all the bad news I say down..... the stock bulls should have bought the dip....
But that was this week...

War is good for the US economy. I can't imagine why Russia wants to get involved in that conflict other than to piss the USA off. They don't have a whole ton of walking around money right now...

 

It's an excellent move by Russia. When shit gets fucky in the little countries, the superpowers are looked to for assistance. Given how bad the West looks to a lot of the Middle East, if Russia can become the benevolent Uncle that brings in the big guns when terrorist groups are taking over cities.. well that would certainly give Russia more sway in global politics. Pretty funny to picture Russia as the terror fighting good guy while they have special forces running around gunning down Ukranians and forcing smaller countries into submission with the implied threat of violence starvation and death. Then again, us noble Westerners play similar games..

 

Yup. I wasn't going from the PR angle though. Russia is isolated politically, no matter who thinks BRICS is strong, and while publicity is nice it isn't fixing their massive corrupt economy.

 

Lets be real here , Russia is in Syria to bomb rebels that oppose their boy Assad , and they are doing it under the guise of fighting ISIS , some of their targets have been ISIS , some have been other rebel groups that are fighting ISIS in conjunction with western powers

 

My thoughts exactly. I can't wait until a US SAM brings down a Russian jet or vice versa.

Doesn't the USA have two carriers now in the med with one other waiting to join in... messy things could turn, but they won't because who wants a small WW3.

 

Russia just launched a bunch of cruise missles into Iran yesterday too , that's not targeted at ISIS

 

Yup. Russia and Iran have quite a few quiet ties. Not saying anything nasty is going on there, but Russia is taking out everyone's garbage there right now to try and make some political friends among the worst people out there.

 

I have this funny feeling that in all their anti-terrorism glory, Russia may just get into a firefight in the Middle East that is inexplicably next to or on a major oil pipe line or gas field or refinery... *cue air strike* ..oh what's that, rest of World? Big oil shortage, aye? Guess where you can get cheap oil from guys..

But we'd be all 'MURICA! and pillage Alaska for every last drop it had just to show Russia we won't stoop to the level of buying their cheap oil.

 

No need to pillage Alaska, just build the god damn Keystone XL pipeline already lol.

 

Ahhh, its all good. At one point I was up about 38%. Just here to chime in and say I was wrong believing it wouldn’t hit 17k. Still overall, holding onto investments for bear market trend.

 

No one knows, when it's a manipulated market all you can do is guess....
Next week will tell, if keeps going up I think about it.... But if it goes down again I won't worry about it....

It's all bad news but we will see what happens....
They may boost the market to hide the dying dollar and the loss of the middle east..

But he makes a good point, that this is the changing of the guard in the middle east with Russia and China going into Syria....
He thinks the dollar has 1-2 years left.....

During, you need food, water, cash, guns ect...... He thinks 2-3 months, but I look at Cyprus and try to plan for that.....
