Are predator steps a Toyota OEM product. Where is the best place to purchase them?
    Thx,
    Bob W

Yes. Craigslist, FB Marketplace, your local Toyota parts dealer, your choice of Toyota online retailer.

If you value your shins you will pass. Had them on from factory. Didn’t last a week on my truck. Just a bad design in my opinion.

My truck is not lifted and I’m 6’ so they are not needed for me. I suppose they would help some. My point is that the individual steps cause a real shin knocker. If I were ever to get something else it would be a solid step the distance of the cab. Again just my opinion.

Don't listen to the nay sayers, they are great for that. I have them and my petite smoking hot trophy wife needs them to get in and out of my truck. If you don't do heavy off roading, get you a pair!

Where are you at? I have a set for sale off my 2023 Tacoma. Those specific steps are factory options so that’s why you can typically only find them on fb marketplace, Craigslist, etc.

I took them off my truck. Kept hitting the back of my calf when exiting, and the tread is like a cheese grater.

I’m over six foot and the roof is low, so predators mostly get in my way, but they work really well for my 7yo to get in & out at the school lines so I’ll call it a win.

Otherwise I’d just go with sliders and have one less thing to worry about on trails.

Those steps are garbage. My 5'1" wife asked for them to be removed because the steps get in the way when entering the truck. These trucks are so low that I can't understand when a step is necessary.

Statements like this blatantly bragging requires pictures of said wife using the steps.

One of the first things I did was pull them off my truck and put them on Craigslist. I did appreciate how light weight they are.

Try them out first, for some folks they're ugly and made entry and exit awkward.

Are they the greatest or be-all-end-all of steps? Maybe not. Do they help? Sure - better than no step at all. My (short) wife appreciates them, and I’ve gotten used to them.

You can find used ones or new take-offs for a reasonable price, and they’re super easy to install.

Just put mine up for sale on the local Craigslist today. I never needed them and the truck looks way better without them.

If they were mine I’d take the angle grinder to the steps and leave the bar
