Has anyone come across someone who ran led lights on the predator steps that turn on when unlocking and opening the door?
I’m curious as to how it’ll look and or work. I wouldn’t mind drilling on the steps rather than my truck.
Not an led strip though. I’m thinking more of 4 individual lights per step.

Welcome! It wouldn’t be difficult to do, just tap it off the dome light circuit on a relay so when the dome light comes on (unlocking and opening the doors) the lights under the steps come on. This does mean manually turning on the dome light will turn them on too though which I don’t think is a big deal. Something I’ve thought about doing. Look up led rock lights for LEDs that would be a good fit.
