The 3rd Gen sharkfin contains an AM/FM receiving antenna and a Sirus / XM receiving antenna. The 2nd Gens had just the AM/FM receiver. Please 'splain it to me like I'm in 1st Grade how you get transmit out of those and to where the transmission could possibly get to? Don't worry, I'll wait.

ETA: I have the Sirus/XM inputs unplugged on mine so that I don't see that app icon on screen. Yet! I still get weather, GPS, etc.
