This is a rather "old" ultrasound. Ella is due to be here in 9 weeks. Measuring two weeks early in the 98th percentile for length and weight. I'm 6'3" 230lbs and the wife is 5'10" at about 170lbs at normal weight. Big baby on the way hahaha. We're both getting really excited. Congrat to all you other dads and moms to be!!!

Oh and to go along with the OP question, my experiences have been pretty relaxed. She's not much different (yet). Although she's on this kick now where she doesn't like to wear pants around the house. I'm not complaining :D

We have our first, and only, due on January 18th. The doc has already said she will induce it no later than January 11th because of my wifes high blood pressure. We tried to get pregnant for 10 years. 3 miscarriages along the way. The wife has issues getting pregnant. So this one was an IUI. We are 40 years old, so this will be a big adventure for us! We already know its a girl, her name will be Lorelei Virginia.

I am sure she will run me ragged. One nice thing about joining the military at 18.... I am retired at 42. So I get to be the primary care giver. Its going to be a very interesting experience thats for sure!

Had our first at 27 and I still felt like I was hit by a semi. Now she's 3 and it's better.

Then her brother came along 3 weeks ago and started the vicious cycle all over again.

I feel like death warmed over.

I'm right there with ya. Wife gave birth to our twin girls three weeks ago. They were 6wks early and they had to stay in the NICU. They came home three days ago. Let the sleepless nights commence. Haha. At 33, I'm too old for this... LOL

It's all good, I'm a stay at home dad now. I love every second of it. It's amazing to watch them grow, and learn new things. Something I didn't get to experience with my first son.

And LOL, we can all understand the sleepless nights. Invest in a good rocking chair, that is comfortable enough to sit in for long periods. Specialy when first home, for all you noobs.
