I'm joining these ranks now too! We are having a baby girl in early April, our first together!

Interesting facts: My wife has been pregnant as long as we have been married (minus a day or two for accidental honeymoon baby).
Her parents both work in the NICU, with her dad (my Father in law) being a top transport nurse. They see only the worst cases, which is what my wife grew up around :-(.
To top it off she teaches special ed so she is intimately familiar with how development goes wrong.

But she has been pretty emotionally stable relative to what I expected (I prepared for Hiroshima, but got a bit less than Nagasaki). :p

Also for you future parents, figured I would share this with you guys. Probably one of the coolest toys we found, the baby loves it, and what makes it  is you customize it, with your kids name and some other things by hooking it up to the computer. It's a stuffed dog called Scout. Made by leap frog, each paw does something different. They have purple for girls too.

Glad to see this thread alive again. We had our second on October 15th. All went well... But let me tell you... I got sick two days after she was born and was sick for 5-1/2 weeks. Then baby got sick. What a trying time. Everyone is finally well now for the most part. I can't believe how little time we have now.

Ugh, that's no good. My baby boy got a cold off his brother, than gave it to me by sneezing into my mouth. :D

    My daughter loves that toy.

I have a 5 year old that brings it home from school, then my wife or I get it, then my 18 mo. old gets it, and then which every one of us didn't get it the first go around gets it. Sometimes the cycle just repeats itself over and over. With a third on the way, I can only image that it will get worse.

Knock on wood, we have been cold free for almost two months now.

I have one of those, I first bought it for my daughter and now my son plays with it. I just haven't got around to change to say his name yet.

Ella's due date is quickly approaching. December 10th. I'm so ready for her to be here. Moreso, I'm ready for my wife to not be miserable anymore. It has gotten pretty rough for her with the swelling and such. Hurry up Ella!!!

Thanks! Our first one will be just over 2 when the twins arrive, so life is going to get INSANE. Pretty excited about it though!

Congrats, I think  (referring to the gun in the pic - NOT the baby, whose picture is not here)

Doesn't look like any newborn I've ever seen :D
