The struggle is real! :p Except that my girl is on her feet all day at work.

I love helping my girl out!!!

I massaged her back on Saturday and it did WONDERS for her back ache, I massaged her feet as well.
I'm in the kitchen more than her these days too.
We usually go 50/50 on chores but now that she's prego (and she's on her feet all day as well/medical field) I try to do more.
I usually wake up early and do laundry (we currently live in an apartment complex that has a decent sized laundry room) so I can beat the weekend "rush" of people doing laundry.
I always wash the dishes after she cooks, I tend to put them away as well. :)
Any other small chores that may come up I either help her out with or just do myself.

She isn't lazy by any means but since I'm not going through what she's going through (on top of walking/being on her feet all day at work) I try my best to make her life at home as easy and relaxing as possible.
I'm loving every minute of it!

I honestly look forward to those first few months after the baby is born so I can help out in the wee hours of the morning, when he wakes up 2-3-4 times during the night, or how ever many times new-borns wake up. :p
I look forward to it all!!!!!!

    I love her so much!

ok ok ok, I kind of went overboard with my "rant"

    Better you guys than me.

I just started the family planning discussion and financially prepping for kids maybe in no more than 10 years. I already feel like my life is over...

How do you guys do it?

My wife is due on the 26th with our first. A boy! Had to trade the access cab in for a full cab last weekend so we could fit a carseat in easier.

    Same as everybody else...
Don't plan for it...if ya wait till you can afford to have kids you'll never have kids. I raised two of my own and won full custody when they were toddlers so I even did the single parent thing for awhile. It was tough and not without sacrifice for sure but kids are a gift. When I did remarry I helped raise my wife's son and we both did it being middle middle class.

Well we arent ready. At least I'm not. So in the time I'm waiting to be ready (the fake ready time... because no one is actually ready) we are saving. And by that I'm being told NO on every new mod I want.

Plus we are adopting and those fees add up when you have more than one kid (2-3 seems right).

LOL. Life isn't over because of kids. Do you get to treat yourself as much as you used to, or get to go out as much? No. But, if you're a family man, such as myself, then you don't want to anyway.

and never ever under any circumstance when they are in delivery room do not lean over and whisper in her ear
" are you now thinking your parents where right and sex is bad"
and never tell the doc to sew her up tight when she can hear you.

This is a cool thread. I remember when my wife had our son. It was amazing. Seeing her give birth made me respect women that much more. Crazy what they go through. My boy is now going on 7 and i have to say, i am so lucky i was able to keep the wife at home to raise my boy. Well she is pregnant once again. Luckily, this time it aint mine. I only wanted 1 kid.

I'd like to think that I'm ready but as someone else already said, you're never really ready. All I know is that I am looking forward to us being parents.
And like many of you, I have MAD respect for my woman for what she's putting her body through. Now that she's pregnant, there's more of her to love!!!! She's all tummy and hardly any extra! :D :D :p

Rubbing her tummy and feeling him kick is fun too!

Weeeeeell it's been a while since I've posted in here and it's been a while since I've actually had a moment (more like actually make time) to finally sit down and edit this video together.
Ladies and gentlemen of TacomaWorld, I present to you, the story of our pregnancy.
This story isn't for the easily bored but if you like or enjoy a good story, then this is the story for you.

Please be patient, it really takes off after the 30 second mark. I promise. It's a good 35 minutes long but if you have the time please watch it. You won't be disappointed. :)
