    RIP Lucy.
    She's gone but not forgotten.
My ex wife once told me while pregnant with my youngest "I hate the way your breathing sounds over the phone. You should stop immediately".

    And she meant it!

We found out last month that we lost the baby :( didn't make it past about 10 weeks.
Went in for the procedure and the follow up was a couple weeks ago. Doc said everything should be good to go to try again once her hormone levels drop back down to normal again. They said it happens up to about 30% of the time which surprised me that many miscarriages happen. They didn't know why exactly they just said it could've been they baby wasn't developing right and didn't make it.
It's a bummer that it happened and really blindsided me too. The first pregnancy back in 2002-2003 went perfectly with no problems.
Now the worst part will be all the worrying when we start trying again. Hopefully all will go well next time and a bun will be in the oven by July.

Thanks guys. Don't worry I'll work twice as hard making the next one. I told the wife we better go ahead and do it every day for a month straight to make sure ;)
She gave me that look like "don't be an idiot" so we'll see how that goes.

My wife has about 9 weeks left and she is getting bigger everytime I see her. Our last ultrasound about 1.5 weeks ago said the baby is currently about 3lbs 8ozs. I am really getting anxious and ready to see my boy.

Joneill03- sorry to about the loss, but just try again. The doc told us to do it like every other day that way the boys build up a little more cocktail, but every doc is different.

We've lost one before. It was tough, not sure how many weeks in we were. But a few years later, I got my other best friend, now 2. Timing for him was much better and we were much more prepared.

    On a lighter note...

I've been tempted to knock my wife up again. Those 9 months were pretty awesome. She was easy, in plenty of ways.

I just keep reminding myself I don't want to pay for two kids to go to daycare.

We had an early ultrasound today to adjust the due date. The tech said she's 65% sure it's a girl but it's too early to tell. She also adjusted the due date from Nov. 5th to Nov. 17th which is my birthday.:)

Sweet birthday present man. Ours was due in November also. There was a lot of snow during those blizzards back in February so there will probably be a little baby boom on the East coast in November. Now we're looking at having lots of summer fun and having a spring chicken hatch if all goes well.

lol if you do it just for that reason then it's for the wrong reason. The 9 months of possible horniness will be far outweighed by the next 18+ years of "not tonight I'm too tired" ;)

We plan on trying in October/November. She is a teacher, so we want to plan it where she has the child in the summer while off. Just wondering if I have something to look forward to besides her always being moody and sick :p
