Hey all, have a pair of 93000 nitrocharger struts and the new 4004 springs i'm about to throw on. I currently have 2.25" of lift in the rear from my Icon RXT leaf pack at option 2. My question to you all is, I'd like to get closer to 3" instead of being at the standard 2" lift in the front. The idea was to throw the 10mm preload spacer on the passenger side strut and get myself 20 mm or like 0.7" to 0.8" inches of lift in the front. Using the 15mm spacer, the idea was to get 30mm of lift or like 1.1" inches in the front. The idea was to have a higher 2.75" lift in the front instead of two.

However, I'm wondering if any of you have experience with these struts and preload spacers in particular, because I've heard from different people that I should completely avoid throwing a 1/2" top hat spacer on because apparently they cause lots of issues, and generally in the offroad/truck community they seem frowned upon as it is. However, I have one because I thought it was the only way.

I've heard these things were maxed at 2" and adding these couple of preload spacers would make it ride horribly. Others told me I should be using these preload spacers over tophat spacers.

Does anyone have experience using these, and if so could you set the record straight before I throw them on the spring compressor? I don't need any more than 3", but if the 10 and 15mm preload spacers worked, then that would provide me with that bit of extra lift to make a difference. I just don't want the front end to ride horrible.

    Thanks,
    Brooks
