Right, so you have no idea but spouted off with your comment like you knew something. What you're describing is not really how a commander works but good luck and goodbye.

what he said is exactly what a pedal commander does. simply plugs inline from the gas pedal and ramps up signal voltage. its does nothing else other than that. basically a placebo effect cause you press the gas 1/4 down but throttle body opens 1/2 way (as an example). it in no way shape or form actually increases throttle response. it simply cant. and to the people saying the computer can open throttle faster than your foot that may be the case. but in both cases the throttle body itself is only capable of moving so fast and the speed of your foot quickly hitting gas in a fraction of a second exceeds that. you may not want to admit you wasted your money on one but thats the facts. at the cost they are new your most of the way to just buying a tune with actual gains.

 

It's not literally a push the pedal harder and you get the same effect without it. I did not claim it would increase power but it can get rid of the lag time between you pushing the pedal and the truck reacting.
