Premature Alternator Failure??

    At least its metal...I helped a guy in a Ford mustang and his belt tensioner was plastic! That thing roached out and threw the belt...I took him to Autozone got a new belt and tensioner, helped him and got him on his way...lol

    They are sealed but they are sealed to keep grease in not water out. You probably would have to submerge the bearing for water to get in but they were not designed to keep water out transfer cases and stuff like that have a double seal or back to back seals one points out the other pointing in to keep water out and oil in.
