Soundproofing the doors should eliminate any rattle

    Interesting.

I have zero rattles with regular woofer drivers (Morel Tempo Ultra 6x9) set at 70hz, that have way better low end than the kickers. A little prep work goes a long way.

Already done. The rattle is coming from the plastic interior shell. If I push on the upper part where the door meets the dash it stops.

Holy crap. Your door could be a Faraday cage.

Put some sound deadening on the inside of the door panel

I’m going to put some padding on the sides of the dash where it meets the door. I’ve done that with previous cars and it’s worked.

Loose one? They are reusable. You just re-set the center stud.

Now that alot have done the Subaru tweeter and kicker speakers, how are they holding up? Do they still sound good? Have you gotten accustomed to them? Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the response, do you know off hand if the 6 inch radio and 7 inch radio run the same power to speakers? Thanks!

Here is a quote with a little info from 1st post

I hope someone else with SR5 will chime in with more. I remember seeing some feedback within the thread, just can't remember if it was positive.
    Good luck

I have the SR5 top knob radio with Entune, it powers my replacement Rockford Fosgate speakers just fine.

I added a sub and amp and I rarely if ever need to turn my radio up above 30.

My system worked better with an amp. I opted for an Alpine Power Pack. I might change to a Kicker Key Amp for more features. Either way you would be happy. I have Suby Kicker Tweeters , KS 6 X 9 and 6.5 speakers. Very Happy. 6 inch Entune Head Unit.

I took out my kicker key amp. I didn’t like the sound. It just sounded flat in the mids. I enjoy the stock headunit and un-amped speakers for now.
