I reused them. I put most of the mat on the inner door skin behind those foam things. Mostly because the doors sound like hollow tin cans. I matted around the speaker openings and random spots here and there. I reused the vapor barrier also.

Hey guys, when taking off the passenger side pillar (grab handle) to remove the front tweeter, how many bolts are on that side? Are there two? One on top and bottom? I'm getting ready to install all the speakers this weekend. First time removing panels for me. I don't wanna break stuff. Lol I've seen the driver side videos but nothing on the passenger side. Thanks in advance...

Is it possible to pop off the trim cover for the the tweeters w/o having to disconnect the battery and remove the pillar?

Takes just a couple minutes to do both, beter than taking a chance of something going wrong. The pillar covers are just 3 bolts (1 drivers side, 2 passenger grab handle. Also it makes removing the tweeter grill much easier im sure.

Holy shit what a difference just replacing the tweeters make!!! I have Bluetooth going with my Spotify with the volume at 20 and sounds like it’s almost at 40! And I’m not exaggerating either haha. It sounds great and I might just keep it this way for a while before replacing the other door speakers. Glad I discovered this thread!

I like how you used the weather stripping. Did you do that to try to lessen any possibility of rattling? Asking because I am pretty un-experienced at this. Lol
