The adapters are left door, right door. Also, don't line one hole up when screwing speaker to adapter and tightening down. They're off about a cm, but not an issue.

I didn't cover the whole door because honestly, I didn't feel like doing that this time. It's 50-50 on the DIYMA web site, And I'm only using what I have on hand.

They sound good. Much clearer than the OEM. I'm happy with them but probably won't hear them much once the PPIs, sub and amp go in. But for right now, they sound very nice.

6.5" woofer drivers for the front doors. I had them left over from my last truck. They pound.

They are the ones in bags in this pic.

Does the stock head unit push them okay without an amp?

I haven't installed the PPIs yet. I may get to them this week, and wanted to get to them tonight, but I have a new class starting tonight. Hopefully I can get to them before the weekend. I'm pretty sure these are going to need an amp (which is already ordered). My plan changed when I started really missing the punch of my sub and doors.

Are you going to sound deaden the entire door for the PPI's?

Maybe. I hate the thought of doing it though. Like really hate the thought of doing it. I think I have enough Noico to do both the front doors completely. I just don't feel like ordering more.....

Sitting here thinking on it, I will probably do what I did with the rear doors, run it like that for a while, then if I think it needs more, I'll cover the rest. I did my tundra completely and to me it was a pain in the ass. Picture from the Tundra doors:

    549d70bdfca057b89f176d8e928d15aa_6b9ead64b614f160823c747ed0726a602fb5f9b1.jpg

Honestly, the proper way to completely sound deaden the door would be to fill the large holes in the door with riveted sheet metal and then put the sound deadener on top of that, and I'm not gonna do that either.....

I have the same feeling. I just dont know if the work is worth the reward for just changing the speakers. How much noico did you put behind the rears?

I put a strip above the bar and a strip below the bar inside the door. The strips were just wide enough to get through the hole, and the length was the width of a sheet (if that makes any friggen sense)

Doing it that way, you should be able to use 1 sheet per door.

I get my 6x9's and 6 and 1/2s today and the Subaru tweeters tomorrow. I received the noico on Saturday. I have a friend who is very meticulous who thinks sound deadening doors is very fun, so I will drink beer and take pictures as he does his thing. Hope to have the install completed this Saturday. I will post pics and review!
