premium/technology with JBL???

I have been trying to find a 2016 tacoma with premium/tech with JBL. I can only find the premium/tech with no JBL. Can/should I upgrade the premium/tech package, or should I wait until I can find it with JBL?

 

get the JBL. I wanted the prem/tech without JBL but the only truck they had was with JBL and im glad i got it. Wait for it

 

I like my JBL very much.

Get the extended warranty because you could never fix it if it broke.

Only reason I got a 4 full door cab was to get the JBL, glad I did...I love it!!!

I decided after hearing it...I would not have accepted the truck without the JBL.

It is plenty good enough for those of us who don't fancy foreign hands dismantling our trucks and messing with the wiring just to allow our music to be heard a block away...LOL

 

I didn't wait and took the truck that they had because I didn't want a 4 month wait just for the JBL. Well I heard with and without after I bought and wished id of waited the 4 months. I was wondering if I could buy the JBL system and pay one of these audio places to install it and would it be the same.

 

That's good to hear cause I decided to add it at the last minute.

 

I also opted to order the truck in order to get JBL.

6 week wait and it's been 2 and 1/2 I'm excited!

 

Ordered 11/5 and it should be built second week in January. I could have bought off the lot if I didn't want JBL but I think it's worth the wait

 

Anybody here from the Southeast found one with JBL? I have not seen ONE with pre/tech package with JBL in the southeast. I am from Charlotte, NC. Even when I "build" via southeast Toyota website, no Tacos come up with JBL package. Weird. Wonder why they are getting them out West but not here?

 

I am looking for a very specific build that includes the Premium and technology with JBL and like you said there are none out there. I literally have to have a truck built for the specs I am looking to have on a TRD Sport 4x4.
I too am in Charlotte and there are literally none out there nor at port. Your going to have to order one and have it built more than likely.

 

I'm in Va. ran into the same issue which turned out to be a good issue. I had everything
installed except the JBL, went aftermarket with JL Audio - better sound, better quality and for
about the same price as the JBL and that was having it installed professionally.

 

I ordered mine in SE Toyota. They found it allocated to another dealer and snagged it. Lots of people do not want to pay $700 for the JBL. IMO it is worth every penny.

IF I could not get the JBL, I would have ordered a 2WD Limited for another $1500 or so.

 

Yeah, I had to have prem tech at least and if it came with JBL or not whatever. I ended up getting the JBL and definitely happier that I did! (Just to note I am not a "huge audiophile", but I am impressed). My wife tried out that song from "The Weekend" (had tons of bass and damn...)

 

what did JL audio in VA install?

 

when you "build" on the Toyota website, only certain packages are available with the color and seat color you choose...weird. I believe it's a toyota website thing...but, in reality, your dealer can make things happen when his/her computer "builds" a truck order.

 

JL Audio is the manufacture of the products he installed. Not the name of the shop

 

what products did he install?

 

Kinda off topic but do you guys with JBL's notice their driver side door window controls making rattling noises between 30 and 35 volume? depending on the song of course. I have taken my truck in multiple times and the end "some what fix" was adding extra foam into the door. Still rattles with some songs.
