Premium vs Non-Premium Questions

JBL sucks for sure. Why add a sub and give me no gain control for it. Maybe I want to pump that bass and not blow out the cheap ass "premium" speakers they put in there.
Dual climate control is nice, but my wife likes it warmer so she turns her side up. It's been really nice having that.
I like the sunroof. Especially this time of year when I can use it more (Florida). I had some clear UV tint put on it to reduce heat so I can leave the screen open.
Leather seats are ok but really stiff. I kind of wish I had cloth and put some leather covers on. That would probably be a little more comfortable.

Get the Premium. You have to live with the truck on a daily basis for years, might as well get the good one.

 

Me personally,I have to have the premium package. The truck I have now is bare bones. Sure you can always add in everything you want later,but it just makes sense to get it when you get your truck now. The tech is one package I can live without though,but normally they go hand in hand

 

Did not want sunroof so avoided Premium. Added Clazzios and Subara tweets, $500 total. Clazzios are really nice for the money (nobody believes these are covers) and may add their heat kit. Note: Premium on Access Cabs adds seat heat but NOT leather! Tweets made non-JBL acceptable for me. Fine without dual climate.

Auto headlights (NOT auto high beams) are something I am used to in other vehicles and do miss. The way the headlight switch is setup, for me if it gets dark while driving it is easy to not think to turn headlights on when the dash lights are switched on and DRLs are running.

 

If you are someone who spends a lot of time in your truck it's probably worth it. For me the truck is a necessary evil when the weather doesn't allow me to take a motorcycle.

 

I've had my share of Leather and don't miss it. But wish my OR came with a sunroof. For some reason they don't in Canada?????

 

you're all gonna laugh at me but I traded in my OR for a Sport premium... best decision I could have made for my needs. Don't you judge me! The leather, heated seats, auto climate control.. I like the JBL.. sounds good to me. The hole in the roof was a nice addition too. All I can say is go with your gut the first time around. You'll be happier in the end.

 

I don't think the sunroof is available on the Access Cab, so you should have been able to get the Premium.

 

You are correct sir, sorry for incorrect info. No Leather, JBL, or Moonroof for ACs. Got me the Off Road Ghetto Package!
