    Game on

Over the next week I will transform this neatly stacked pile of 18mm Birch C2 plywood into a random assortment of different sized pieces according to my cut list that will take up far more space in my shop awaiting the day I will get around to assembling them into something that resembles cabinet boxes

Started breaking down my plywood today . Used my TS55 track saw and TSO parallel guides to crosscut my panels as required . I cut right off the stack by putting a sheet of 1" styrofoam under each sheet as I was cutting it

Phase 1 is done , all my full sheets crosscut as necessary . I'll rip all these pieces into their individual units next session

Especially at this time of year , its important we remember the less fortunate homeless members of the systainer community . I pledge to give each and every one of them a home in the Festibule

Do you watch Scott Brown carpentry on YouTube? He just finished up a plywood kitchen build for his house in New Zeland and your cabinet stack of plywood reminded me of his videos.

Phase 2 of Project Plywood Cutpalooza done except for my stretchers , I'll cut those all up tomorrow no problem

Next step is to mill up the solid wood edge banding I'm going to apply to the plywood , I'm going to use some old vertical grain Fir flooring I pulled out of a previous client renovation I did ages ago , you can kinda make out the bundles on the floor to the right in the foreground

Got sidetracked yesterday but today got my stretchers and kick ladder material ripped up

Have a design change announcement for the bored averse community subscribed to this thread ~

instead of vg fir banding for these cabinets , I'm going to use western red cedar on the uppers and possibly yellow cedar on the lowers

I have lots of all three and just want to mix up the woods a bit to represent the material I usually use in my work , plus I'm kinda vg fir oversaturated , plus the darker red cedar will look good against the birch plywood on the open shelving

I think that will look good. My dad just trimmed out a building using VG fir for base boards and redwood cedar for all the door and window casing. It looks fantastic! I think you'll be happy with the results.
