Prepping Tacoma for Cold (really cold)

    you do know that ethanol gas has an affinity to attract & absorb moisture more than regular gas.

    hence the reason to run heet in colder states. i dont usually run heet since i usually keep 1/4 or more of gas in the tank and refill the tank every week.

    another side effect of ethanol gas is that it mixes evenly with water to burn any excess water in the tank in the combustion process.

    but that doesnt help when your vehicle is sitting outside when its -15F or colder.

    Stock for now...
    Use non-ethanol gas , problem solved and the engine runs much better anyway .
