    I've searched everywhere on TW and cannot find discussions on the Prerunner without a locker. Seems like everyone who doesn't have a 4x4 has the TRD Offroad Package with locker.

    I've got a 2011 DC with LSD (w/o locker) and need some input on making it more off-road capable. I'm not talking major offroading, just light stuff. From time to time I've gotta hit the dirt. I considered trading it in for the TRD model but my note would change considerably so thats a no go.

    So.....What can I do to increase my 2WD, LSD, Non-locker Prerunner more offraod worthy?

    Any information would be greatly appreciated.

    I have an SR5 with no locker(only the left rear wheel spins at all time) and did awesome at the trails. You should do fine if you get some clearance.

    Looking a RAVs for the wifey saw a really nice PreRunner 4cyl Tupperware all around and raised a bit. Think the sticker was 24K. If I was in the market for new I would probably get that and be happy enough. I do like the Tupperware color match through the grill on those. All black. Have never seen one without the painted flares. Even Googling 2011 Pre Runner they don;t come up... Nice place to start to build a nice mall crawler that doesn;t look too flashy or like a Limited version

    my truck has an open diff and it does fine until I get brave and go through stuff that puts my powered wheel in the air. If you really have a LSD and not what most of us has, which is ALSD (open diff which is manipulated with braking by the CPU to simulate limited slip on pavement but doesnt do jack when the powered wheel is in the air), then you are more off road capable then many of us out here.

    But a lift and mud tires couldn't hurt either. :D
