    I installed some Smittybuilts on mine...love them also. I no longer have to hear my 6 year complain about needing them every time he gets in my truck. I went from a Montero Sport that had them to my truck that initially didn't. He reminded me of this every day until I put them on.

    Do the 2nd gens come with running boards or sidesteps stock? Mine came with running boards but I've seen quite a few brand new trucks on here without them. Maybe it's just an option.

    It's an option. They should all come with the factory mounting locations, and most aftermarket steps utilize the same mounting. You can buy them from the stealership, if you don't mind getting raped. ;)

    So I was doing some mild off roading today and I wanted to go up this one hill but I didn't really want to flip my truck, kinda paranoid and looking back I could have done it, or get stuck, my main concern as I was alone, next time I will conquer the hill and take a video or pics.
