Checking your frame for rust would be a good start. :)

Thought I would drop this here. So apparently (according to ARB/OME) OME dakars aren’t meant for prerunners. Shackles are different. I didn’t know this when I brought in my truck to the off-road shop, but the guys there rocked it and made it work out. They had to drill out the bolt hole in the shackle a good bit bigger and they put on some huge bolts. Anyways, also got 5100s on all 4 corners and have toytec ebaich coils up front on .85 setting.

EDIT: don’t copy what was done to my shackles.

No they aren't. PreRunners have the exact same frame and suspension as every other 6lug. The only exception is the transmission crossmember. Whoever told you this is lying or very misinformed. I say this as an owner of a prerunner with dakars that I slapped on in my driveway in 2 hrs quite easily.

not trying to be rude but whatever they told you was completely incorrect. What worries me is that a bolt of that thickness won't fit inside the sleeve in the bushing so how did they fit it in there? You should definitely make sure that the bushing sleeve is there

Yeah that's a good point @ilubtimmyhos. Corny taco, there's a metal sleeve that is inside of the bushing on the dakars. If they used a bigger than factory bolt, I question if they were able to retain that sleeve. Without it, you're going to have some issues.

Ok, just so weird that they wouldn't bolt right up.

That was probably the quickest part of my lift installation.
