He didn't install them. Sounds like the shop did something wrong, not him.

We are just trying to help bud. Promise. If it we're me, I would get someone on here that is local to help you pop off that rear shackle and inspect things to make sure the sleeve is there.if it's not, it will fail, and you won't be able to fault them down the road.

Thanks man, I’ll try to get that done. If my shackle ends up being fucked, I might just consider a shackle flip and replacement shackle. Who knows.

So I've had my little prerunner for 8 months. I haven't done anything to the truck but tint the windows and pick up a new set of tires. But I definitely want to start building a capable trail rig that will push the limits of what our trucks can do.

So what should my first upgrade be? Lift kit, better rims, locker? Don't really know where I should go from here!

Well you're off to a good start with the tires. They make a huge difference while offroad. What size did you get?

A lift will help somewhat, but a locker will have the most impact. After that I'd say suspension to gain more flex offroad. Or maybe the other way around! It's a tough call. Those two things though hella flex and a locker) will make your truck capable as shit.

Picked up a set of Cooper AT3 4S in 265/75r16. Aired down and did a quick "moderate" trail with play areas that I was too scared to approach alone lol.

Depends on what your trying to do offroad, these trucks are pretty capable (depending on the driver) with just a good lift and tires. But if you really want a noticeable difference and peace of mind i'd go lockers...wish i would of done that first with my rig.

100% do a locker. It literally doubles your drive & with good tires lets you go places stock 4wd rigs get stuck (I passed a few in Mammoth last weekend, not BS'ing).
