255/80r17 would be what you want.

I haven't seen that size before. I'll have to look. Thanks

My favorite tire in that size is the cooper st maxx. Choices are limited, but they're there. I ran the 255 maxx for awhile and loved them.

Yea not a big fan of those. They are amazing offroad but I live in Colorado and prefer a all terrain for better year round traction

Have you owned them? They’re amazing in the snow and rain. Everyone I’ve ever talked to (myself included) have nothing but good things to say about their traction both on and off road in all types of terrain.

Went up to the hills today with the kids. I was alone so I didn't push it. But the truck did pretty good.

Will do. Is auto LSD on by default or do you have to press the button?

You press the button to turn it on and that basically turns off your traction control

Good evening all, when was the last regular cab prerunner made? The last I seem to be able to find is the 05-11 body. Is that correct? Was looking for one between 12-15 but no dice. I also had an idea of getting a 1st gen prerunner and putting my '70 truck/hilux body on it. Thanks for any insight!!!

What's the highest rated/hardest trail anyone has tackled in their prerunner? I went up a spur off shrine pass this weekend and was impressed with the trucks ability to get up.

Air down...like...to 15psi, lower if your tires can handle it without blowing the bead off. Don't stop, don't make tight turns, don't lift off the throttle. Momentum is your only tool when you're 1 wheel drive.
