If I can avoid crashes and afford to keep up with repairs that come with an aging well used vehicle, I will keep my 2nd gen until I can no longer drive. It’s still as big a thrill to drive my truck now as it was the day I bought it 10 years ago. I have owned Porsche’s, Mercedes, Lotus etc and can’t say the same for any of those.

I got mine with 75k miles in 2017 from a small town body shop that fixes totaled vehicles and sells them with salvaged titles. It being a small town, I was in the know and knew this was all cosmetic damage and although it would have a salvaged title, this would likely be a steal. Got it for $12,500. Ran perfect since, with regular maintenance of course, and has 121k now!
One day I will have a 2015. Nothing newer than a 2015 for me yet due to them moving away from the 4.0 V6. For now I’m just a broke college student, lol. Nice truck man, that’s sharp looking

It’s quiet on here!!! Here’s my Most Recent pic, ordered new 4.88 gears from east coast and a new LSK longtravel kit to replace the camburg kit and just picked up my 5th ultra wheel back from the powdercoater for a spare. 249EE3B8-F22E-468B-ADDB-0DABE242DA05.jpg

My v6 prerunner destroys access roads

But seriously, I get pretty far with my 2wd as long as I take it easy (no rear locker). I would love a 4x4 but make do with what we got

Mine is pretty good for towing. Put it in 4 and it's good to go.
