No. That's how you turn off the traction-control and turn on the electronic LSD. No true locker.

The traction-control uses the ABS sensors to detect wheels spin and retard the engine throttle in an attempt to gain traction. The LSD also uses the ABS sensors to detect slip. But rather than retard engine throttle it grabs one rear brake or the other to transfer power to the opposite wheel (open diff) in an attempt to gain traction as well. If both rear wheels are spinning the LSD tends to alternate braking on each side to try and "walk" out of being stuck.

The LSD tends to work well with grippy tires in the mud or snow if you're stuck. Traction-control is more for wet surfaces (rain).

I got it just after Christmas but put it on just last week. Had to wait on my Air on Board switch to come in.

Ah, the grill guard, I got it put on after someone backed into the chrome bull bar I did have on it. The body shop I took it to got it from God knows where, but it is an Aries grill guard, you can find them anywhere online

Thanks! I've just about got it exactly what I want for what I do. Just want to lift to give a little more hunting trail clearance and she'll be done!

@outdoorengineer does that grill guard significantly hamper the light that your headlights put out?

I have been thinking of going with that 'style' of front bar.

I haven't noticed any difference personally. The "birdcage" in front of the headlights can be taken off with 4 bolts if they did hurt your headlights. Mine is just fine.

So what does it matter what everyone else has them for. I have mine for nighttime trail rides and driving to and from the deer stand at dark. Fact, they are VERY bright and VERY useful in nearly any situation. I didn't know that only non-"brokedicks with cheap cars" could make any sort of modification or buy a lightbar?? I'm actually glad they, have bought them. Sure made mine ALOT cheaper!!

I see stock full sizes and SUVs all the time with them. It makes no sense whatsoever. I even saw a early 2000s beetle with one on the roof haha.
