Yea, I took it for granted that my speedometer was accurate from the factory but as it turns out it was a little off. When I went up to the current size tires I have, I gps verified and the speedo is right on all the way up to 75mph.

Good point on the odometer. When you change your tires from OEM, you need to recalibrate the odometer to take into account the different circumference of the new tires if you are making a substantial change. That's an expense most don't want.
For true milage, you can calculate the change in miles travelled from the original tires, to the new tires. C=(pi)(d)
I'm sure you can also google the internet and find where someone has built a calculation that you can just plug in the numbers of your tires old vs new and it will give you a correction factor.;)

I did a test this weekend. I am running 285's with a 3" lift and I got between 280-300 miles. I filled up my tank with 1/4 left and forgot to pay close attention so that is why I don't have an exact number.

    tint, hid headlights,

i might be wrong but the LT sizes are normally like 10ply tires they are a heavier tire which means they can haul more of a load. and a P metric size is a lot lighter tire kinda like the stock tires that come on our trucks they normally are like a 6 ply i think just depends on what brand
